How do I verify my identity?
When you first register your email address, we will automatically create your personal Bondora account. After this, you must also complete the identification process before you can get a loan. We use this process to verify your identity, bank account number, and residential address.
Use the verification methods below to identify your account:
- ID card
- Mobile-ID
- Smart-ID
- Internet bank (Trustly)
Simply choose your desired verification method and follow the instructions on the screen.
If you choose to verify your identity through your internet bank, we will also confirm your bank account, and later on, your loan amount will also be paid into this account. This identification method is provided by Trustly. The process is secure, fast, free, and you don't have to register for it. We simply ask you to log into your internet bank (we won't gain access to your bank login information).
Please note: you cannot verify your identity through Trustly if:
- Your bank is not on Trustly's list of banks
- Trustly does not support the method you use to log in to your bank
- The bank account is linked to your credit card
- A bank account has two or more owners
- The bank account belongs to a minor
- You do not have internet banking
Bondora tip: Once your account is verified, please be sure to keep your email address up to date. This is how we verify your identity if you contact our Support team.
